Various topics of research like Maratha History, Social History of Medieval India, History of science and technology are explored by the faculty members.
Several research papers are published in the UGC care list journals and in Peer –reviewed research journals.
Department encourages students to undertake research activity by introducing them to the principals of historiography
Students are given project work. Students share their findings with their peers in the class seminars.
The department is making efforts to attract research funding for undertaking a major research project.
