National Service Scheme (N.S.S.)
Rajaram College is one of the oldest colleges in south Maharashtra, serving since year 1880. Rajaram College has its contribution in the social service from period of pre independence. National Service Scheme (NSS) has been playing a vital role in enriching the souls and minds of the students since long time. NSS volunteers always ready to cater the need of society as and when required. NSS volunteers understand the community and themselves in relation to their Community in which they work. They get involved in the identification of the needs and problems of the community and involve in problem solving process and also get aware of their social and civic responsibility. Since the adoption of National Service Scheme, Rajaram College has been continuously working on various problems of society in order to find sustainable solution. Rajaram College has motto “Quality Education for Personality and Nationality” in addition to this NSS unit of the college work with a principle of “Service for Sustainable”. With this motto in mind volunteers constantly work for society and for environment. NSS unit conduct various programs such as cleaning drive, blood donation camp, plastic collection drive, road safety awareness program, tree plantation drive, vyasanmukti drive, voters education etc..
